For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Oct 2005 Posts: 31 Member | | Member Joined: Oct 2005 Posts: 31 | Just received my interior kit from Hampton Coach for my 1938 HC. Everything looks pretty straight-forward, except the windlace kit. My truck had no interior except the springs, so I can't even rely on my failing memory. The kit came with four pieces of windlace, the longer two are obviously to install under the moulding around the door openings. The two shorter (44") pieces I suppose go under the moulding around the top of the doors. The 44" long windlace isn't long enough to door the entire upper half of the door, so where does it start and end? Anyone got a photo they could share? | | |
