I ended up helping the guy out as even he was having a time. Seem to remember a lot of grunts and groans and mutterings of lotsa foul things. Worth the cost to me in the end to have it done.

Then you dont have to try and hold the headliner up while trying to install the rubber. Before I did that I was having a heck of a time.

the ends of the rubber should be at the back, center, so just start there w/ one end and work around - if it wasn't a tight fit it wouldn't stay there - the only way is like highwayman sez, glue the headliner in first, then struggle calmly w/ the rubber and it will go

Bad thing is,using anything metalic to help push the rubber in and you run the risk of denting the sheetmetal on the roof, and it will show through on the top of the roof.
