| | | | Joined: Feb 2005 Posts: 399 Cruising in the Passing Lane | | Cruising in the Passing Lane Joined: Feb 2005 Posts: 399 | Alright, ordered all my new channels, felt things, glass and all the other stuff to completely redo my door glass..found the channel that the glass sits in the bottom of the passenger door, cleaned it up and ready to go..Here's the problem, there is a thing called a lower rear door edge glass guide which I found in the bottom of the drivers door and it is supposed to be on the lock side of the door..Looks like the connecting flange just rusted off, but the channel itself is still good..I see where the Truck Shop sells new ones, but sure can't figure out how to get in there to replace it..Has anyone done this before? You can't tighten to much, they will strip out. It's tight but you take one hand and hold the strip in place while you insert a screw with the other hand, or get a helper. If I'm not making myself clear I can take a picture tomorrow of the two screw locations.
