I am looking for some help on finding the supplier for the most original looking Rubber floormat for the 1/2 ton AD truck. Please go to your truck and turn over the floormat and look for this number 97C7281202 (stamped on with white paint) If this number is there try to remember where you bought this and please let me know. All the mats I've bought or seen have been rather thin. I have a worn-out original and used it for a template to make a heavy duty one from industrial ribbed rubber. It also makes the cab quieter. If you are going pure stock this would not work but my truck is more of a daily driver.

its not from chevy duty. thats werre i bought mine; which by the way wasnt quite as good quality as i wanted, but the price was right.

I put all weather carpet from Lowe's in. The type that is on bass boat decks. I put black in and it cost $17.00 and has a rubber underside. It's not the shiny plasticy stuff and looks great. Under it I put that shiny on one side insulation that I got in a roll. I had enough to put under the seat too. I had enough carpet left to cover the kick panels that I made from 1/4" plywood. Looks great and is cheap. I plan on gluing the insulation to the truck and using velcro on the carpet so I can remove it and hose it off. The only thing I'll have to remove is the brake pedal. Then I'm hoping Santa will bring heavy duty rubber mats with the old chvy logo ont them I saw at the parts store.

My dad got his through Scotts Super trucks in Penhold AB Canada. We thought that the material was rather thin, and thus copied his floormat and are going to make our own for our 3/4 ton and 2 ton.
