I got choke & throttle cable in ok, but have another knob without any letter on it...could this be the cable for defroster? Also, can anyone advise where the heater motor should pick up its power, and at what amperage it is suppossed to be fused? My heater was devoid of wiring, so I just ran a feed off the ignition through a 20A fuse, and to the fan switch (this is a 12v conversion, I have no clue what the stock heater's resistance threshhold is). I'm sure there are 'bolters who can give you an idea of the factory wiring configuration. | | | | | | Anonymous Unregistered | | Anonymous Unregistered | That extra cable goes to the defroster flap. The heater motor is supposed to gets its hot from the ignition switch [ but I like to hook it up to the constant hot terminal of the headlight switch [ cause it has a built in thermal switch ].

The electrical switch to control the blower motor was right beside it.
