I was going through my pictures I have collected over the years and found this one, anyone know anything about factory shrouds? Looks like a '37 truck.
Joe - According to a 1929-46 Chevrolet Master Parts Price List it was available for 1937 & 1938 3/4 ton and above trucks equipped with the heavy duty (3" thick) core radiators. There were ones also available for earlier and later trucks with the heavy duty radiator as listed. I'm sure it could probably be adapted to a 1/2 ton radiator too.

Joe: I have a '38 half ton pickup that I installed a shroud on. A few years ago someone on Ebay had three of them, I decided to buy one. They are for the thicker radiator as on a larger truck, so I cut a piece of a black sponge mat that you kneel on, the piece was about 1" X the width of the radiator (20" ?) and I used it to fill the space at the top of the shroud to the radiator.
