For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Aug 2018 Posts: 760 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Aug 2018 Posts: 760 | I'm going to remove the water pump from my 1940 half ton pickup today. It looks to me like the radiator should come out, in order to have enough space to get to the pump. I should remember, because I built the truck, but that was about 20 years ago, and I don't remember. Working over those huge old front fenders is not easy for an old guy. I just want to make it as easy as possible.

And then you will have room to work without scraping your knuckles on the radiator or damaging the radiator if a wrench slips. | | | | | Joined: Aug 2018 Posts: 760 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Aug 2018 Posts: 760 | Thanks, that's what I did. It looked as if it would be very difficult to do, if even possible, with the radiator in place.
