I bought the radiator with the adjustment holes so it is as low as it will go . I feel like the fan should be more centered and a little higher . If I let the truck sit to long at idle it will start getting to 220 . Is there any think I can do or to use a better fan other than the original 4 blade ? | | | | | Joined: Feb 2019 Posts: 4,472 AD Addict & Tinkerer | | AD Addict & Tinkerer Joined: Feb 2019 Posts: 4,472 | Given you location, you’re facing a very typical overheating issue that arises using a shortened stock style water pump on a 235 swap into your truck. A better solution is to use an adaptor plate (and the original 216 water pump), designed by a fellow Member Pre ‘68 Dave and offers a pump relocation kit that will put the water pump in the correct "sweet" spot for getting that engine in your truck and providing the best cooling. Check out his website for a ton of great info 235's and the relocation kit!
