I went to Harbor Freight to get a clutch head driver so I could start taking the rear fenders off my 57. When I couldn't find one I asked a kid working there if he knew what a clutch head bolt was and of course he had no idea. I went to Sears and found a screwdriver set with about 20 interchangable ends.It had 2 clutch head ends but both were way too small, and I don't want to spend $25 for an entire set anyway. Can anyone tell me where I can buy a clutch head end for my 3/8 impact driver to fit the bed fender bolts?

I checked Mac/Matco & SnapOn on line but didn't pull up anything. I am going to a body shop tomorrow and will take one of the bed bolts in with me. I will see if the local SnapOn or Mac guy still sells them.

Only $12.00 too.
I took the old bolts out with a 1/2 inch socket and the always useful Vice grips. Hey Beaver 53, that is exactly how I got most of them off. It was faster that blaster & waiting.
I have the clutch head socket coming so I can put original bolts back in and not mark them up with the Vice grips. Thanks all.

Usually about 4 bucks a piece. The largest is for the fenders and smallest size was on the back of the ignition switch. I ordered a set of 4 screw drivers from Classic Industries today ($19.95) and a Matco Tools Distributor has 3 different sized socket drivers on order for me. I'm going to figure out all of the available sizes etc. and will advise later. Measure clutch head across diameter. McMaster Carr sells individual Irwin 1/4” hex drive bits in 3/32”, 1/8”, 5/32”, 3/16”, 1/4” nothing bigger. The four piece screw driver set that the vendors sell 5/32”, 3/6”, 1/4” and 5/16” are all 1/32” under the nominal size, they fit very sloppy. Don’t know of any 3/8”sizes that are used on the 1/2 or 3/4 ton trucks so the 5/16” size that Snap On sells would probably be the only one you need from them.
