On page 119 in the pressure washer section they sell two sand blasting kits that work with a pressure washer  one is $62.99 the other is $109.99  . Have any of you used one of these? Do they work? How about with soada as a blasting agent? Any way what do you think? I took a look at the $62.99 kit. It sure solves the problem of having only a small air compressor. The combination of abrasive and high pressure water would seem to be a winner for a nasty old dump box.
My only question would be how to address freshly blasted, clean steel being bathed in water.
It would instantly flash with surface rust. I guess a rust inhibiting primer might deal with it, but when I blast with the conventional air/sand combination, I do everything in my power to keep the bright metal shiny until I get some protection on it.
I wonder if the Northern Tool setup is designed for something other than steel...maybe a concrete structure or sidewalk.

I've used both Jascos' Metal Etch and Rustmort. Rustmort seems to be a little better, but the only place I've been able to find it is at an auto paint supplier. Jascos' Metal Etch works good and you can get it at Ace, OSH. It's a little cheaper than Rustmort too. Both are essentially phosphoric acid. Either will kill the flash no problem.
