Good Morning Y'all... A group of us are going to get-together for Lunch on the 9th of August. We are going to meet up in Orangeburg SC at Crossroads Country Buffet we plan to be there around 12:30 or so.
I there are any Folks that would like to join us, please feel free to do so. We usually have a great time and get a chance to meet different Bolter’s.
Crossroads is a great little Mom and Pop place with great food and great staff.
Let me know if you would like to join us, I would like to give the staff an approximate head count. Hope to see Y'all there.

Wish I could make it, but it is kind of a long drive just for lunch, almost 900 miles one way. So have a good time and post up some pictures!

Maybe we should have Card Board cut out of you two made. We could pass them around to all the different regions, then you could always be there...

We had a great get-together. A few of our Folks had to bale out for Family matters, Family first. We had 8 of total.
We enjoyed some great conservation, getting caught up after awhile is a good thing. Wayne and Nelda had come up from Sanford FLA. They get the long distance award, I guess I should come up with one.
Alvin came down from Boiling Springs just for the Nanner Pudding..Jay and his(our) friend Al came in from Columbia.
We had some great food and excellent service. In the end it is all about the People. I encourage you to find somewhere central to those others around you and get-together. If you plan something Folks will come..

Yep Bob, we need to plan something for the folks in central FLA. There are quite a few down your way. I guess the same could be said of MS and ALA, maybe Donald (Southerntruck) can get something together for the Gulf Coast.

When I go to the member list I can search for Florida in the location column. It only gives me 1 page of names. I know there are more. Is there a better way to find the Florida member list?

That's an interesting question, I don't know the answer. I would be willing to bet GDADS51(Dan, Dan the Answer Man) could find out..
I'll put the question to the Moderators and have an answer for you all.

Wayne, The search feature in the member list is hopeless, but here's a method to search for Florida members. Go to the member list, click on location to sort by that (1 on the attached pic), then click on the page list (2) and type in 240 in the go-to box (3 in the attached pic) and click OK. Members who list just the state in their location appear as FL about half way down the page. Then click on the subsequent pages and it will list all members who's location start with "fl". The downside of this is if someone only lists Miami or Miami, FL as their location, it won't find it as it's sorted alphabetically by the first character, then the second character.
It would be nice if there was a method to search by multiple factors, such as location (anywhere in the string) and number of posts (eliminate the zero post guys who are likely inactive), but apparently that's not available.

Kevin, thanks for the insight. Sometimes the members don't list much of a location, that make the search a lot harder.

Not that I'm aware of. I do know that if you search a specific member it will show you the last date they posted on. I moved you question to the moderators forum, could be someone there has a better answer for you.
