I know I can buy a new panel but I am not sure how to change it. I can see the spot welds on the bottom but I can't see what holds the upper part. Can anyone here offer a little advice? I did find this 2013 on-topic thread at Classicparts.com. I think the info and pictures in there will help you answer the question on separating the lower front from the upper part.  Let us know how it turns out.

Perhaps you would post on how yours works out so other Bolters may be able to refer to it in the future. Any do's and don'ts tips, plus pictures may make it easier for others looking to do the same work.
