Can't say enough about this awesome event! Townsend is a gem in the beautiful Smokies. The show was incredible and has grown from fifty in the first year to 350+ in the fifth year. So great to see Stovebolters not just from the South but from all over the country and the World representative, Tim Pryor!!! The organization for this event is first rate, I especially liked the recognition of the all volunteer event staff prior to the raffles and awards presentation. I arrived on Thursday but plan on another day next year to really take advantage of what the area has to offer.

I can’t wait to see more Stovebolt.com trucks there. Although I can’t attend next year, the Texas crew is planning on going big in 2 years! I already know where we are staying!

Thanks for posting the pics Chris, Tim and I are at the lake tonight and headed further south tomorrow to go thru some of Missouri outback. Also see several springs and old mills.

Yes, we'd like to see a video if anyone took it. At least some pictures. Gosh, I thought Jerry was bringing The Ned to the Southern Bolters event as a Pony Express to get back home (ODSS). Maybe the SOBO will start something similar that shows the flavor of the group (a Stovebolt cooking utensil ) -- or not. The Ned was a lot of fun, especially its history and then to see how creative the recipient could be with his addition to the trophy. So, in that regard: what did Jerry add?!?!
