Un-solder the opposite end of the valve there is a cap soldered in. Before you do see if you can see the end of the plunger. I found there to be two different ends on one it just looked like a stainless steel washer that is thin and flexes and on the other a rubber cone shaped plug. I will look to see if I have some pictures.

Here are the other pics. Also I used a kit for the rubbers for a Dodge as they are the same, but came with both the required rubbers.

On another look, if you are just trying to get at the seal in your picture, the U shaped bracket on the end shown has a slit in it that you carefully pry apart to slide over the rod to get at the flat round seal.

Test the inner seal when you have it apart. You can pull the plunger and plug one of the inlet holes and blow in the other to see if it leaks.

Suck and see if your tongue sticks to it. If not, there's a leak.
