Un-solder the opposite end of the valve there is a cap soldered in. Before you do see if you can see the end of the plunger. I found there to be two different ends on one it just looked like a stainless steel washer that is thin and flexes and on the other a rubber cone shaped plug. I will look to see if I have some pictures.
