Holy Cow - Ott3r thank you for posting the pattern for your trans case shift boot - 12 months ago. I missed that. So late as I am, thank you.
New project on my sewing list.

Great rig! The stories it could tell before you got it, and now it's piling on new ones. I'm glad I found this thread. I hope you keep sharing stories and photos.

Dear Fellow 'Bolters,

If you're a fan of these legendary 4x4 NAPCO conversions, you'll definitely want to check out Ott3r's journal documenting his 1959 Chevy Suburban project. Originally bought in the early seventies by his Grandma and has remained in the family ever since.

While maintaining the vehicle's original patina and character, Ott3r has focused adding modern brakes, beefier suspension and addressing all existing mechanical issues. This has resulted in a beautifully preserved NAPCO that's both reliable and trail-ready.

Reading through his journal entries, it's evident that this NAPCO sees plenty of action. Ott3r's enthusiasm for actually driving and enjoying his creation shines through in every update, making it clear that this build is all about the experience behind the wheel rather than just another restoration project.

For those who appreciate the perfect balance between preservation and performance, this journal is definitely worth following. Happy trails!

Best Regards,
Phil
