That's where I got this Mr. Gasket version. You do have to mutilate the tranny some to use it. You have to file notches in the shifting fork shafts where they exit the side of the tranny. I keep it as a spare should the column shift break and I can't get replacement parts. Recently an old timer buddy of mine ask me, "Why didn't you use teflon?" When My brass ones wear out I will. No Lube needed and probaly shift smoother. Now that my column shift works better than new there is no way I would trade it for a floor shift. It's right at my finger tips, shifts click-click solid, and never hangs up.

My shifter is smooth, but I manage to hang it up every now and then - due to agressive moves on the shifter by the shiftee. I could use some adjustments, I guess. BW | | |
