To all, we are planning a Meet and Greet in Pickins SC on August 10th. We will be meeting up at "Aunt Sue's Country Corner " for lunch and an afternoon of tales and adventures past and present. "Aunt Sue's " is a Mom and Pop restaurants and Ice Cream parlor, they even have an AD flatbed on site.

Everyone is welcome to join in, Trucks are welcome but not required for this gathering. The plan is to arrive around 11:00, that should give us time to socialize a bit. If you would like attend please send me a PM with a head count so I can give the staff a heads up.

Nelda and I have decided to stay home. I checked with the hotel in Greenville and they are already having evacuees staying there. We don't feel right taking up a room for our pleasure when it could be used by someone that has had to flee the flooding.
This storm Debby looks like it going to dump alot of water on the South Carolina lowcountry and Georgia coast.

To all, We had a great time! Thank you to aĺl that made the trip. Aunt Sue's is a great little spot, the staff was gracious and very accommodating to us. The food and service were top notch.

The group gathered together and made new friends and caught up with some old. Being able to put a face with a name is a great thing. New to our group were PaPa Joe’s wife Mary, Clyde (Dakota38), his wife Vicky, Alvin's friends Jim and wife Barbara, Jay's (Lugnutz) friend Al.

We also had some work to do. I had brought the 1.5 ton rear end from "Thor" for Jerry (HotRod Lincoln). Jerry has plans to use this for his " Doodlebug" project. We transferred the rear end from my trailer to Jerry's in the parking lot of Aunt Sue's. It's amazing how many Mechanical Engineers we have when the work starts. With some input and muscle from everyone we completed the task. No injuries were reported.

The work being done we retired to Aunt Sue's front porch and some Ice Cream. All in all a great day spent with some great people. I'm already planning another gathering this fall.

Back home- - - -made it about 300 miles a few minutes ago, with no mishaps! Thanks to everybody for the help getting that big axle loaded up. It's headed for a project tractor that ought to be able to climb trees, with all the gears it will have!

Had a great time and stretched the legs on the 37 and wifes longest ride yet. Enjoyed a nice Satirday out. New faces blended in like we've known each other for years. You never know what to expect when the Southern Bolters get together 😎
Jim and I let the younger kids do the hard work. Well, someone had to supervise!!!

Just made it home, 7:00 PM Sunday evening. Made a pit stop at Jay's (Lugnutz), had lunch and loaded the rotisserie. Left a T5 for Jay to practice on. It rained most of the way home with some serious Thunder Storms from Savanah to the house.

Thanks again to all that joined in, it really was a great time.
