Hello Gents,

Wondering if any of you have done a dual master cylinder upgrade on your big bolt and what MC did you use? I've got manual brakes, BTW. I'm planning on buying the adapter kit from Jim Carter's, but I'm not having any luck finding a dual MC with a 1 1/4" bore.

I did not use a store bought adapter.
I borrowed a hydrobooster and MC from a 2004 ford super duty, I think it is 1.625 bore.

I have also used the MC from a Chevy P30 chassis on another project, it is similarly large.

I have disc brakes on everything, so my exact suggestions may not work for you.

But, the idea is to go look in the junk yard or parts store till you see something that looks like what you need, even if you did not know what you needed before you went in, you may when you go out...

I used a drum/drum master from a 1970 Chevy truck and mounted the booster under the floor also. It's all home built but it will lock on all four corners easier than any set up from the 40's or 50's,
