I'm working on my 1950 4400, and would like to rebuild my hydraulic pump. It works fine, but leaks like a seive. I checked Jim Carter's classic trucks, and they don't have such a kit listed,,, at least not that I could find.
Any ideas? Thanks,

I would guess that your leaking hydraulic pump wasn't something Chevrolet manufactured or installed on your truck. You would need to go to the manufacturer of the pump itself for parts.
Many times seals, o-rings, quad rings and other items can be obtained from a bearing supply house by merely ID'ing the part, or taking the part in for them to measure.
Scratch around and see if you can find the manufacturer and maybe a model or part number.
Is this pump for a dump bed?

I'd suggest you stop at a local firehouse and ask where they get their hydralic pumps repaired. Fire departments have lots of hydralic tools.

If you goto rural area shops it's best as they see alot of off the wall stuff on farm vehicles.
Hydraulic shops that work on farm equipment are good places to check as well.
