The '51 GMC 640 made it the whole 27.5 miles at 50 mph. The big guy has not been driven in 14 years and I had real reservations about driving and air brake only 5-ton truck through town. The truck had originally been a U.S.Navy rig given to the Marines according to the brass plaque in the cab.So I had to paint it olive drab didn't I? I got lots of thumbs up and waves, great ride.Only one inch of play in the steering too! The truck was free at a local bankrupt boat yard and after fellow Bolt member 3B coerced me into gettig into these Big Bolts it's finally home. Lots of local parades planned next summer.Hope this picture thing works, it's my first time :hammering: [URL=http://i240.photobucket.com/albums/ff135/RICHARDBENSON
