So I have a '36 T-14 and it came with some sort of aftermarket bed? like a service bed. Must weigh 4 or 5 hundred lbs. I have a bed off of a '46 pickup, do you guys think I can use it on my '36? I think it's about 2" wider than an original would be. The bed is in great shape and won't need a lot of work before paint.

Fast -- Your tape measure is your best friend in this case and can answer your question better than most of us could. wink When measuring, be sure the get all the details. Some *fitting* may require effort than just the regular length, width, depth. Now, how about those holes? headscratch

I have it setting on the frame, it's a little short, about 3''. I'm not sure how far from the back of the cab it should be, I'm thinking 1 1/2" max from cab. My only concern will be if the fenders are going to fit. I will have to weld up the fender holes in the bed sides and redrill them in the proper spot. I will have to put the running boards on and see. Will keep my fingers crossed. I can always bob the rear frame rails off a little if need be.

Fast55, do any of these PDFs that dunfire sent back in 2022 help with what you are looking for?

Those look like they are for the cab mounts, which I have already done. I was just wondering about the difference in the bed width and the rear fenders fitting. I don't know how much adjustment is in the running boards, moving them away from the frame to make them wider. I guess I will have to mock them up and see what happens, hopefully I can make it work without to much work or it looking odd.
