Well I finally got the dummy block in and mounted up my trans with the new bellhousing. I put in the new front engine mounts with no problems but I never thought about the trans mount.
They make the automatic trans mount for v8 conversions but not for a v8 with the orriginal trans that I can find.
Does anyone know of a company that makes a trans mount for the orriginal trans bolted to a v8? Or if anyone has done this to theirs and made a coustom mount. Would you mount it at the end of the block and have the trans hang like orriginal? I am worried about the torque so I am thinking of making a mount that holds the end of the tranny and might make a mount for the end of the block as well. Would that be too many mounts?
The reason I kept/rebuilt and went with the orriginal trans is that I wanted to keep the pto for the hoist as well as keep the truck as orriginal as possible other than the engine.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! I will add pics in two to three days of the install.

Here\'s some that I made to make the V-8 bell fit the old I-6's crossmember. It wasn't too hard at all, just measure 20 times and drill twice,

Thanks Virginiafiretruck, I enjoyed your pictures as well, awsome restoration. If I'm able to do half the job you're doing I will be very happy.

Very nice mounts Scott, thanks for the picture!

With all the torque from the Stroker, will the trans be fine just using the 4 bolts(grade 8) holding it to the bellhousing and just hanging in the air like orriginal or should I make a mount for the trans as well?

Should be fine with the transmission just hanging there.
