I was at a show today and the 72 GMC beside me had an original Pullman Camper top made in California. We're in Florida. The truck was from Montana. Here are some photos:

That thing is great. Always liked campers. What could be better than sleeping in your favorite truck? Thanks for the neat pics. thumbs_up

Ah yes, the suicide foldout windows. I know a guy who had one of those and has multiple scars on top of scars to prove it.
He drank a lot and was a bit on the slow side to boot.

I love that Camper Top. I drove a '70 GMC "Longhorn" in High School, that same color. Thanks for stirring the memories.

Wayne, what show was this?

This was a Festival of Speed show during the antique boat show in Tavares, Florida. I was able to sell my antique boat while there.

Hauling boats and campers. All things related to some of our trucks. thumbs_up I'm pretty sure there are lots of fellow Bolters that use their trucks in this fashion. Perhaps they would share their pics of the trucks too. I think though such pictures would better be posted in the Who uses their truck as a truck? - 2021 and later thread! Hint-Hint wink

Craig, I'm not a boat guy. Also, this one is way too small for me.

Didn't you just finish restoring it? Or do I have you confused with another guy on this forum?

Yes I just finished restoring it. I did it to save it from going to the dump. I wanted someone that really wants to own it be able to enjoy it. I was successful!

And the new owner got a freshly refurbished, custom trailer, too.
