Paul, welcome to Stovebolt. Congrats on your truck. This is the place to be for old Chevy and GMC trucks. You'll find answers to any questions you have by asking them in the garage forums. Look forward to hearing more about your truck... and there are quite a few bolters fron Canada. Watch for them.

Achipmunk, even though we are great friends with our Canada brothers and sisters, Michigan is still in the U.S. of A., not in Canada haha. Welcome PaulH!

Paul, That's all good and actually funny. Some of us have to rely on our grand kids, too. grin Be sure to have your wife read, "How to add pics to a post" which is a "sticky" here in the Welcome Centre. Looking forward to seeing these!

Paul, Welcome from the opposite end of the USA. We’re all on that road of a tech journey, some are just further along than others 😂🤣. Good thing to have grandkids and wives to help us along.

Please don't tell my wife how much this thing cost!

Welcome Paul! wave I read your new "The Adventure Begins" DITY post and look forward to seeing and hearing more on your truck!

When you get a chance, maybe post a "Howdy/Hello" note in the Great Lakes Bolters forum. Lots of Bolters in your neck of the woods and you may find a few close by! thumbs_up

Paul, a lot of people I have talked to over the years have been thru KeeslerAFB or the Navy Seabee base and have returned. And by the way in the summer it's still hot and humid. 😀
