When running freeway a while back started noticing a new sound, several hundred miles later. That sound has become one heck of a Howl !!! My rear leaks quite a bit and I got under there to check it - well I think I was all but out of oil. Filled it up, but I need to get the leaks stopped and I think maybe new bearings. What do you think? While driving, the noise gets worse at about 22 - 32 mph. Almost no noise below that and after that it gets less notice able. But it really sounds bad and at the worst, it sounds horrible.
Does anyone know someone you could recomend in So Cal that could replace the bearings and or rebuild this? I beleive its a later eaton 2 speed - something after 47 anyways. Theres a fleet pride truck repair place here in town I am going to talk to this week, but hopefully you guys might know someone, thanks Tom.
