On probably 80% of posted photos I get a "you are not authorized" to view message. How do I get authorization?

Are you sure you're logged in when trying to look at photos? If logged out, I don't think you can see posted photos.

See the attachment (if you can headscratch)
It shows what the photos display as when you're logged out. And the message you get if you click on one of the filenames.

I get that response to my photos and others. I have an Android laptop which in my case could be the answer or they are in private files.

Yup. People who are not a member won't see the Spoon at all. Even Members must be logged in to see it. They can read the News & Announcements, the Bus, and the Passing Lane (in The Office area). There are plenty of GREAT areas elsewhere in the Forums. wink

One thing that I find helpful is to set my personal theme to a different color than the default. That way I can tell at a glance if I am logged in or not.

Wow, Jason. This is a good idea. I really don't like the dark colors tho. Seems some of the links and lighter colored text may not show up in some of them. Other stuff really pops out.

Out of curiosity, I looked for other choices. I found a light colored one that's not bad (see image). It is fun to try / look at the different ones. They have holiday themes. How about that!
