Wow, those were the days! I think the section on adjusting the brakes was as long as the section on rebuilding the engine :-D Kidding, but seriously any mechanically inclined farm hand could keep this thing on the road pretty much forever.

One guy I've talked with called them "splash and clatter" engines.
