I want to give a shout out and a huge THANK YOU to the only other Southern Bolter in Ms. He brought his truck so I first insisted on a picture while we were there. I was in need of a possible solution for my truck grinding going into 3rd gear. Mike gave me a different idea to solve it based on how he solved his problem. He had an extra SM 318 laying around that he pulled from his truck when he restored his. I met up with Mike today (better known as Kades51) in Byram. We had a good lunch, a bunch of good conversation about old trucks, grand kids, work, retirement, you name it we covered it. I also worked on him to come to the Gulf Coast in October for Cruisin the Coast this year. I couldn't bring my truck so i just brought pictures instead. Besides the part he gave me, I got also some good advice about something he knew way more about than I did. That is what this site is all about, there are plenty of guys who have already fixed what you are working on so... all you have to do is ask in the appropriate place.
