I have a 1951 chevy 1/2 ton doing a complete rebuild frame off.
I was checking to see who sells the best rubber weather stip kit for this truck there is so many options.

I’ve found Steele rubber products to be the best. Pricey but worth it

I spent several months working with Steve at The Filling Station. We actually were working with Steele to get them to change their extrusion die. They had been using an odd 3/8" die but we could never tell why. It was too small. At this point the very best weatherstripping you can get for the doors to the cab is the 7/16" thick material (may be sold as 1/2" but is really 7/16") through Filling Station. Steele may sell it themselves, but I know The Filling Station has it. If you get the 11/16" stuff (and this will be true no matter who makes it), it will be too thick and you'll end up having to slam your doors to shut them. Run your two-tone line where the stripping will cover it and apply using the contact cement type stuff...black. This is a link to that product:

Good luck!

I recently did a total rebuild on a 52 3100 including all new rubber obtained from where we all buy our parts from.
I was not impressed. Before the build was complete, the fuel tank filler neck grommet and the rubber under the exterior door handles cracked severely. I don't blame the vendors for this. Their rubber parts have held up for me in the past without issues.
Their parts are likely made overseas with exact specifications as to what materials are to be used, which are not followed.
My rubber parts were likely made in Asia near the end of the batch when the rubber vat was getting low and they had to add old flipflops and plastic bottles so as to not run out of material before the order was complete. (speculation on my part)'
Any builds I do now requiring rubber parts will be ordered from Steele.

Unfortunately Steele sources some rubber parts from "overseas". With the "made to meet our quality and standards" statement.
They are still the no. 1 go to place.

I've had sucess, and failures from suppliers including Steele. I live close enough to personally get my stuff at Steele. Even tried to get them to give Stovebolters a discount but no go. Its been a few years but had good sucess with weatherstripping from the Truck Shop but can't speak to any of them today. I'm also close enough to Charlotte that I picked up many parts from their store in Concord.....and yes, I've passed on some stuff. Unfortunately we cant see products until they are delivered. Its a crap shoot some time. Thats why we rely on each others experience.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile
