Hello Southern Bolters. I just purchased a 1953 Chevrolet 6400. It is a project truck. I found it in Mississippi & brought it home this past weekend. I am in Bolivia, NC which is about 30 miles south of Wilmington, NC. I have not decided just what my plan is for this truck. Keep the original drive train or upgrade, keep the petina or make it look brand new with a nice paint job. I do need to do some cab sheetmetal repair & replacement.
Hopefully I can connect with others in the nearby area & find a good source for infomation & parts. This truck is missing a few parts, such as the seat, a bed of some sort, the driveshaft parking brake mechanism, to name a few.
Thanks, Dan

I would definitely keep the logo on the door, I bet there's some great stories there. Welcome to the "Bolt", we're glad you're here.
