Yesterday I made my first post in the Engine Shop. Now, I introduce some more and a little bit about me.

I'm living in the Netherlands in the province Friesland (Frisian). At this moment I'm restoring a Chevrolet C15A CMP from ww2. I hope to learn from you in this forum about the technical stuff of this car. I bought the truck 3 years ago from Stefan (LWD parts). It's not a complete restoration. Technical we rebuild the brakes (new brake cylinders and lines), fuel lines and partly the engine. The frame has a lot of patina so I put it in the Owatrol to protect it against rust. The body was in good condition except for a few spots. The roof was in bad shape so I found an other one and replaced it. I also collect a lot of spare parts and (rare) items for the truck.

Another truck I have is a Canadian Dodge 3/4t apt/wp from 1945. This truck is different from the US Dodge WC52. So is the rear end narrower and is it wadeproof. The engine is also different and is, I believe, a inch longer than the T114 in the US type. This car is road ready and it's a lot of driving with it.

Richard, you are in a good spot!

If you have time, search for military vehicles. We have a bunch of WWII in the Gallery.

Welkom, Richard. I also love those old military trucks. Dad drove those Chevies for the Dutch military in the 1940s in Indonesia. Nice to see them brought back to life. Good luck with your project.

Welcome to the Stovebolt! You have a very interesting collection there. It appears that some are right hand drive. Am I correct?
