A 292 will fit where a 235 once occupied? What is the best source for reconditioned long blocks in the Midwest?

A 292 won't directly bolt in place of a 235. There would be a lot of modifying to make it fit. If you're dead set on a 292, I've got a used one. A better choice of engine would be a 261 which will, for the most part, bolt in place of a 235,

What's wrong with your 235?
Did you ever find your lug studs?
