My old gauge pod has idiot lights.
I have an original pod with gauges, but I tore up he dash getting it out.
Any tricks out there on how to replace the pod?

I did this on a 1971 Camaro. The original cluster had a huge gas gauge, no tach and idiot lights; pretty sad for an SS model! I found a cluster out of a wreck with tach, oil pressure, small gas gauge and a tach. It also had a clock. The tach replaced the huge gas gauge and the gas gauge moved off to the corner.

I had to buy new senders for water temp and oil pressure. The senders replaced the switches. Worked fine.

I know the '63 is a bit different but my c-10 had the full instrumentation including the factory tach. I've seen many with the idiot lights but if you search they are out there. many of the c60's had the upgrades panel and it swaps out. Our '66 grain truck did, though it didnt have the tach, just a blank in that spot. Original always looks better than aftermarket hodge podge if available.

If you are missing one component, you'll need an abundance of the others two.
