On my 65 c 20 the hole next to the master cylinder where the electric wires pass into the cab, there is only a hole. Wires laying in the engine compartment. Just how do the wires pass into the cab ? Is there a plug in connection at the fire wall ,to the inside of the cab? This looks like it's going to be a real electrical mess. Stan

There should be a grommet/connector that mates and passes the wire harness through the firewall. Find depictions of the wire harnesses(s) for the engine and lighting on the vendors websites for an idea of what you are looking for. I presume you do not have new wiring as the harnesses come with the connectors.

It's not going to be a mess, we will help you all the way. Do you have the connector on the right side of firewall ? That one is pretty similar to the one you are missing. The wires you speak of on the left side of firewall are basically front lights (headlights, turn and park), horn and 12V power. 10 wires go into the connector from inside and 7 come out into engine bay.

Hi, Yes, that's the one. I'm familiar with this too. You need that grommet in the second picture. Available at most aftermarket places.... LMC, Jim Carter, ect.

I’m in the process of rewiring my 1963 C10. I’ve already done my 1965 C10. I’m familiar with all of the grommets and original wiring that passed through the firewall. I will assume that you do not have original parts in hand to compare. I have pictures of the individual grommets and the individual disconnect pieces. Let me know what you need clear pictures of. I included pics of the main bulkhead grommet and disconnect pieces.
