It is $free$ so that is enticing but I just want to know what could be expensive to replace on this truck. I want it to look nice but I would use the dump bed if I take it so it will be a working truck. Engine is free, only two dents on the sheetmetal, hydraulic dump, 13' flat bed, 4-speed went easily through all gears. I know the brakes need attention, the carb needs cleaned from sitting and all the glass is bad. Any tips for anything pertaining to this truck would be appreciated.

Being curved, you have to order it - $200-$300. Does it have the cab corner windows? What's missing? Plenty of places have parts for these. Brakes will be the biggest expense unless the engine needs rebuilt, even then, brakes won't be too bad. Parts are still readily available for these trucks so I recommend jumping in with both feet,

Almost anything else you are likely to find used for free if you are patient. Used brake parts are not likely to be any better than what you have.
