Very Cool, can't wait to meet you, seen you around the site for a long while. This should be a great event for everyone.

Can you decide at the last minute to show up. Surely there are hotels nearby?????

There are hotels nearby but the turnout for the show was more than the promoters figured on last year. This year they are limiting truck entries to 1700. If you don't want to enter your truck you can just park and walk in, spectators were $10.00 a head last year.

I have a large pavilion at the State Park reserved for Friday and Saturday for the group to use.

Ron, the hotels near the fairgrounds are already getting full. Vicki and I will probably be staying near the airport about 15 miles away Thursday night.
Then the state park cabin Friday and Saturday night with Jerry. Head home Sunday.
We are confirmed for the show entry also. Stovebolt awning and other daytime stuff will be with us.
The main fun will be back at the state park, after the show, both nights. Vicki will have her cookies!

With the 2022 Reunion somewhat up in the air I'm hoping that the Jamboree will be another great event. I'm working on T shirt design and sticker for this year, any suggestions are welcome. I'm sure that the price of fuel will limit some of the folks who were planning on going to Lebanon, I'll do my best to make it worth the trip for those of you who can make it.

I agree with Craig, don’t worry about bringing a truck. It’s the gathering that counts!
The best times are sitting around and really getting to know each other. The show is just a side attraction.

This is a simple one I had embroidered a few years ago. The pink was for my wife... not you Don.

I just liked that it's clearly a GMC. lol (and of course mine is green.)

We are about a month and a half away from the Jamboree. I putting the final touches on the shirt and decal design, I'm still thinking about a shirt color. The printer I use has told me that shirt supplies are limited (like everything else) and I may want to get the order in before long. I will try and post the design this next week for input and suggestions (other than GREEN).

I know that fuel prices are ridiculous and it may be a limited amount of us who actually make the trip to Lebanon. I would like to think that we will enjoy the gathering just as much as last year and would like to welcome more of our friends and family to join in.

Since I live in Tennessee now, I will try to drive in for one of the days. It’s about 2-1/2 hours from home. Sounds like it will be fun, and I would enjoy meeting some of you guys and gals.

I am planning to be there unless something unexpected comes up...but hey, its a weekend and not a lifetime

Tut, back some years ago we did shirts one year that were purple. There is a group photo somewhere that most of us were wearing them in K.C. I think it was the year I had taken request and had them embroidered. At that point some of us felt like it was the "official Stovebolt color" but that was not entirely the case.

That being said, I wore mine for a long time. Grease did not easily show easily and they had pockets. They were not and "offense color and looked nice.....so, we have had orange, yellows, greys, blues so why not a purple????? Just saying.
My next choice would be Navy or Royal blue.

UPDATE on the SETN show in Lebanon. The show will be limited to 1700 trucks and as such you need to be registered prior to June 12th, that is the cut off date. There will be no "DAY OF SHOW" registration !!! The SETN will be CASH ONLY, many vendors will no doubt accept credit cards but the event merchandise (shirts, hats etc.) will be cash only. Hey Y'all, we are at the 30 day mark for the SETN show. I hope all of you that plan on having a truck at the show, have registered the 12th is the cut off date.

I have reserved the same pavilion as last year for the Jamboree, I know that a few of you have reserved cabins or camp grounds at Cedars of Lebanon. Those of you waiting to get hotel rooms may want to check on availability as there are already 200 more trucks at the SETN than last year.

I will have the design for the shirts the first of next week and ready for printing. I will post a picture so you can decide on ordering if want one. I will try to keep the cost at a minimum but like everything these have gone up as well.

I have quite a few door prizes already and still gathering. I hope that Jay (Lugnutz) will entertain us once again with his Magic Show, I know that PaPa Joe's Grandson Eli is really looking forward to it.

As we get closer I will work out the details on food and essentials for our gathering. Last year's event set the bar pretty high, I know that we can all enjoy some time to gather with our friends,(Old and New) and just spend some good time together. It may be the love of Old trucks that bring us together but that's not why we come back.

We are pre registered for a 57 GMC one ton and will have the Stovebolt awning to put up.
Not sure of our schedule yet, but will probably stay somewhere around the airport Thursday night.
Hopefully we can claim our spot early Friday in a grassy area and maybe some afternoon shade.
Since Alvin will be there, how about a small grill to do some dogs on at the show? Alvin can bring his own soda!

Rubin Ninneman's grandson is really looking forward to Jay's magic show this year!
I still need to swap a transmission in my squarebody if I'm going to drive that one down. I've got the trans ready to go. Whichever truck I bring I have a "to do" list.

I plan to be there but I'll neef a ",ride" in the gate. My back pain is unimaginable. Been waiting on appt wirh neurologist since late March which was set for August 16th.........but finally got it moved up to July 11th right after the show. Something has got to give. Life since mid January has been the pits. Now its kidney problems! Colonoscopy last Friday (whew, not cancer).......... But a country boy will survive.
At least I can still make it to Chic-fil-A

Alvin, One of the little ladies at your church can't loan you a Hot Rod scooter for the weekend? I thought about barrowing a Golf Cart from my oldest daughter, it would mean bringing a trailer but it would sure make life easier moving stuff in and out of the show... I'll keep everyone in the loop.

Made reservations today to stay at the same hotel as last year My Place which is next to the steakhouse where we ate.

I emphasize with you, Alvin. Maybe I should walk more but I don't walk very far a lot of the time with a cane for stability. I would like to go but the distance, the heat, and walking I am going to pass. Forgot the price of gas.

Not sure about carts. I took my electric trike last year and had to pay an additional 20.00 which I thought was a bit pricey.

Yes, golf carts are allowed. There will be a fee to be able to use it ($20.00 , I think) but that is for both days.

Linda is searching high and low for a decent used golf cart, she is really wanting to take care of Alvin. I suppose that somwhere in the mix of all that I get to take care of a golf cart ( Oh well) . It wouldn't be a bad idea to have an offical-unoffical "Stovebolt" mule, I have plenty of Hot Rod stickers to decorate one with.

Walking far was never my idea of fun so I quit going to even local shows. Between uneven ground and humidity, it is not fun anymore. Hope you find a ride.

Hey, they suppose to have golf carts you can rent daily but not sure of $$$$ which want be cheap ....or even mid range. A captive audience means big bucks!! But for old man like me any price is a good one!!!

Any idea about truck-trailer parking at the event (or in the area)? I didn't see anything on the website. Was planning to leave my truck and trailer in Crossville like last year, but now thinking about going to the Corvette Museum on the way, so my buddy's place in Crossville is now out of the way.

I saw something about no trailers allowed inside when they were talking about golf carts, maybe the overflow parking at the campgrounds?

There is plenty of trailer parking outside of the show grounds on the south side.
It may not have a security patrol though.

Mark, they will have trailer parking as Don said, you can leave your truck connected. I'm sure they will have some security, the parking area is next to the camping spots.

You won't be disappointed in the Corvette Museum, we went after the Jamboree last year and a blast.
