I think it was on eBay a while back, or at least I know I've seen that picture before.

I felt like the bed just did not work with the cab...

Well I'm not so sure Steve. When you really look closely at it the roundness of the thing all blends pretty nicely. Of course I'll admit a stepside would be cooler. The thing I see omitted are some side windows on the ex-cab unless thats a bunk back there.

An AD bed with widened fenders would look much better.

I think maybe the best looking alternative would be a utility bed like the old telephone company trucks.

I agree it could use some windows in the cab. If its bunk space they could be tinted to ensure privacy.

I like phantom models like this one, but this particular truck always seemed to me an example of how it should not be done.

When I finish mine ('53 GMC extended cab dually) I'm sure others will feel the same about it.

Reminds me of the movie "Alien vs. Predator". It's one of them, but it's still a neat truck!

Yeah Patrick, I've been critical, but it is a neat truck. And the first time I saw it I remembered it.

would have looked better if thay had made a pice to conect the bed and cab to gether with out that big gap
