I’ve been beating on the truck lately. Out with the butchered firewall that PMK hacked up & who evidently didn’t know how to do bodywork and in with the repaired donor firewall. Doing a final test fit before I start the welding. The front & rear suspensions along with the 8.8 Posi and a modified half ton front axle with a disc brake kit has been put in. Little bit at a time….joe

Yup, and after spot welding, grinding, spot welding, grinding and spot welding and grinding some more this is what I ended up with. Looks like I got decent penetration by looking at the backside and the hard part is done….joe

I’ve been just doing a little bit at a time when I can afford it and can actually do the work. Let’s just say I am feeling all those bumps that I have taken over the years. I believe every day for the past week I’ve emptied that 60 gallon water heater across my body and boy does it feel good…..joe
