Hi gang,

Well, I'm waiting for delivery of an 8,000 lb. forklift to finally take off the dump bed today on my 1964 Chevy C60 dump truck . Work has been brutal and I finally have a free weekend to work on my project grin grin grin

I'll be updating my web site tonight with some pics of the removal...

Later gang!!!

No need for a forklift, man.. just take out all the bolts, and do a few donuts.. and VOILA! The wife has a new flower planter! smile

an idea is only stupid if you think about it rationally.

OK gang...I've posted some pics of my truck following the dump bed removal. They can be seen on The Disassembly Page, Set #6 on www.chevyc60.com . The previous owner had welded this huge non-standard hitch onto the back of the frame. The only way to remove it was by cutting the whole thing off using my new oxyacetylene torches . They actually welded it to the frame cross member, so I had to cut that off as well. Nevertheless, I took some pics of the cross member before it was torched and will fabricate a new one at my friends machine shop so I maintain originality.

Enjoy gang!!!
