I've read the shop manual, and have searched past threads. I would like to know what windshield sealant you guys have used, and recommend. Also, if you can provide any tips or advice that you think might help me, I'll really appreciate it.

Specifically, it’s on page 1-4. It only calls for sealant for the windshield. It also soecifically says that no sealant was used on the back windows.

Maybe its the new rubber!, a little sealant no more leaks and never hardens . I don't know my tuck is a 56 maybe you need nothing

I think that you guys just confirmed it.

| | | | | Joined: Aug 2018 Posts: 760 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Aug 2018 Posts: 760 | The book says to run a 3/16 bead on the outside of the pinch weld flange, all the way around, prior to doing anything else. then, if I remember right, it calls for shooting a little bead under the rubber in the glass groove too, after the install.
