Welcome to the stovebolt. I like 38 grain side trucks. Mine had them when I got it.
Ask your questions in the proper area and someone will be there to give help.
Welcome again to the best Chevy truck site!

Get off the phone and use a real computer to post your photos. Much simpler. Instructions are in the left margin of every page unless you’re on a cell phone, then you can’t see them.

IRich I was thinking of the truck and dont remember the farmall model. It is also for sale and I can call the owner for anyone interested. Like the truck, it was another project he never got around to....
Love the 38. You are lucky to have a complete grill, hood ornament and both headlight stands.

Hi Wayne and 37 barn find. Been hid there since 1986. Yes , i was totaly amazed all the trimmings were there right down to the license plate brackets.Bowtie emblem was missing on right hand hood but when I dug around in the mouse nests in the dash, I found it along with the wiper arm! Did you notice the key was still in the ignition? He said it was drove in and parked there35 yrs ago! I am just wanting to stabilize the rust and get it running for now. Am gonna take off that rotten stake bed and hopefully build a new wood bed no wider than the cab. I need return springs and at least 2 oil seals and better rebuild the brake cylinders while I am that deep into it.It would be nice to see it roll but even nicer to make sure it will stop.
A narrow bed like that would leave the rear wheels exposed. You would need to fab some type of fenders. Just my opinion.

I was wondering about that myself. That's way down the road. If i get get her on the ro okad by spring I will have plenty of time to study out that bed.
