My wife and I retired in 1999 and moved out of Houston, Tx to Bryan/College Station area. I’m a hot rodder at heart. I do have a 32 Ford 5 window coupe. I traded my 29 Ford Tudor sedan for my 46 pickup. I had to do a lot of work on the truck before I could drive it on the street. It did come with a 350 v8 and 350 trans. I’m getting ready to change the current worn out v8 and I managed to get a crate 350 so when I change it out I’m going to a 700r4 trans. I recently changed to a Mustang II front end. It really stabilized the steering. I have lots more I want to do to my truck but time and money is a problem. My wife and I are both 77. So time is not on my side. Looking forward to enjoying Stovebolt. Everyone has their own ideas of how they want their vehicle. No one is wrong. I also have a 51 Chevy 3100 I need to do for my grandson.

George, take your time and enjoy it. I'm getting pretty old myself (74 next month) Some days I do nothing but I really try to get in at least 15 minutes everyday! It is both relaxing and peaceful. just do what you can and enjoy it.
Just ask any questions in the garage forums and we'll help you every day if need.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile

Thanks. Some days I don’t do anything either. I love my old cars and trucks.
