Vicki and I will be staying at the Quality Inn just off I-70 at Noland road Friday and Saturday nights.
Mongo's Garage is not far from there. He says he has plenty of parking and has also invited his club, some fire fighters and boy scouts.
His shop looks plenty big enough to have the gathering.

More info to follow.

Great Alvin, we’ll have the hotdogs Friday night.
When do you think you will be going thru mid Missouri and what will you be driving?'

Don, We will be taking Alvin's truck, I'll be driving to Boiling Springs and we'll leave sometime early afternoon Thursday. I would love to stop at Ted Drew's while going through St Louis (who knows). Not sure if we will drive straight through or stop somewhere, just playing it by ear.

Craig, you will have to go the Watson Ted Drews.
The Grand shop is closed for the season. Open 11am till 11pm. Here is the menu.

Another must see stop is Crane's Store.
It is 1/4 mile off of I-70 in the middle of nowhere at Williamsburg, Mo. Take Hwy D north exit 161.
It's like walking into a country store in the 30's. They are also the biggest Carhart dealer in Missouri and make a good cheap sandwich to go.
Make sure you pet the dog laying on the front porch as you walk in.

How about a road trip report with pictures?

I still have Alvin's number and will pm you my home and cell numbers.
Glad you guys are joining us!
