The clutch disc WAS rusted to the flywheel and when I put a putty knife in and broke them apart all is good now! Cut a piece of broomstick, 2X4 or even a piece of PVC pipe just long enough to wedge between the front of the seat, or maybe the steering wheel, and the clutch pedal when it's depressed. If the clutch pedal is happy, hold it down anyway!  Jerry

I'm traveling now and hope it's not stuck when I get back in 2 weeks. I forgot again!

I've been lucky enough to be able to free mine by driving it while holding the clutch pedal in until it finally breaks loose. I now carry a piece of 1x2 that I use to hold the pedal down by wedging it between the pedal and bottom lip of the dash.
