Hello again. I became a member several months ago when I asked for opinions on a 54 GMC 100 I passed on thanks to your input.
I finally acquired a 51 GMC 100 we named little Joe. Pictures attached. The truck came with a 350V8 and 350 auto transmission, 76 C10 differential, C notch and air bags in the back.
As you can see, Little Joe needs a lot of accessories. Any recommendations for parts, headlights, mirrors, front bumper, pedals are appreciated. I’m looking forward to posting in the various forums, as I need front suspension advice, electrical, etc.

Welcome back! The Swap Meet forums would be a good place to check out for the parts you need. You can check out the "For Sale" and the giveaway forums, plus put in a request on the "Parts Wanted" forum if you so desire. Good luck in your search!
Your lucky that you happen to live close to the “The Truck Shop”. It’s located on 739 North Batavia, Orange, California and will have most of the parts your looking for. I visited the one in Concord, NC, and was blown away with the displays and the amount of parts I was able to purchase and walk out the door with. My biggest limitation was my wallet wasn’t big enough. You can also find most of these parts from online venders such as, Classic Parts, LMC Truck, Chevs of the Fortys, and Classic Industries are a few. Most have online catalogues and will send you ones for free.
I also agree with Rich’s Toys, that the Swap Meet Forum would be a good place to get original parts. I’ve had allot of success getting parts thru that forum with most at great prices.the Original parts usually fit better and are of better quality.
Good luck and “Welcome to the ‘Bolt!”.

Sweet! Don’t take it apart! Get that thing driving/legal and call it done as I tinker and update! It looks awesome and you don’t have to worry about dings and scratches. Drive the wheels off it or until it pukes. Nice find.
