The evil city conspired against me and made me get rid of my 46 1 1/2 ton granted it was a mess and needed alot of work but I still liked it. I am eyeing a 50 2 ton with a wrecker body at the moment the question is wether I can afford it 1500 bucks for the beauty. Anywho I just had to post to vent about it.

Better luck on the next one. our area they don't bother you to bad if you keep them tarped. Though I'm sure you checked on that option. The other clause, if not tarped, is must be operational or tagged. So if you must you can get historical tags but you still would have to keep up minimal insurance

I traded it to a hot rod buddy of mine, and I live in Fort worth well really edgecliff village which is a little gestapo orienteted town. I mean they make you have an electric garage door opener on any new houses geez.

Ten to one there ain't no cliff and no edge.

I wish we could win the lottery so's I could buy up a whole bunch of land out in West Texas to provide a place for all you fellers to store you trucks and parts with a great big AIR CONDITIONED garage to work in, a lounge (is that a "bad word", boss?), equipped with every tool imaginable and a bunkhouse.

Woldn't those F**D dudes be green with envy?

Drivin' down a 2 lane country road in a stovebolt.....cowboy, it don't get no better than this!

If they were able to make you get rid of the
46, there going to come at you twice as fast
if you get the 50 and don't get it running.
