Hello
Been reading and stopping in to read the Stove Bolt discussions -tips
and helpful old topics in the database for several years .Love for old
Chevy's started when I was learning how to drive at 15 years old
In my Uncles - 1937 Chevy -4 Door Sedan. Already was driving the family
tractor for years before that and my first time sitting behind the wheel of
that Old Chevrolet - gave birth to my love for Chevrolet's.
In 1968
Bought a late model
1953 Chevrolet Sedan Delivery ( rare)

Then a 1953 -5 Window Classic.
It was my only vehicle and my work truck too..*smile*
Could write and book on this one -- You know
the One ! you should have never sold..

A 1953 3800 Panel
Another 1953 -5 Window Classic
And then a 1953 Suburban which I have
had just shy of 40 years.
Hope I didn't go overboard
Love the Stove Bolt Forums..
The Best to Y'All........

Amen ! Forever madness
````` drive ``````````
Was reading another member's
" Truck for Sale " topic and
got that same funny feeling that
I am not getting any younger *sigh* and no
longer can work on my old "burb" like I use to.
Truth be Said !
Heck they might find me
just sitting in the saddle (seat) with a
Funny Grin ! on my face one fine day.... smile
I just Love the feeling of sitting in the old saddle.
Wife and I went for a short cruise this morning..
And again -- the way she wears that "certain" smile.. wink
like we never left---- and are back there in "time again" grin
Priceless ! " stuff" yahoo
Wow.. I was born in Oceanside before moving to Oregon
and upon my return to Southern CA some 6-7 years later was
blown away by all the " progress"...? As I said years ago I joined
the Stove Bolt forum only to find out I could not make posts. Nor
send private messages etc. Landed on some " other sites" names
came up on my old friends that since have passed. Quick question
to you remember the " Mescalero Biker Club " ? Maybe you could
send me or exchange private messages with me. I ran into someone
about 3 months ago and at 83 years old he is still doing body /paint work
in Oceanside !. Still not sure if I have overstepped the forum rules...
Well , Going for another short cruise in the burb today to keep
her limbered up.. Got a rod knocking and it's my own darn fault...
Jimmy Buffet ? LOL......
Nice finally landing on board.. smile
Pictures!
I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile
