Now, how do I get the brake shoes off? They seem to be held in with a pin and a wrinkled looking washer. Also, if I break any of this, is there a source for new parts? I’ve never seen anything like the setup that holds the brake shoes in. At least there is only 1 spring and it seems to be in good shape.

Once the end is higher than the top of the pin, you should be able to push the washer back over the pin and the washer will fall off and allow you push the pin out of the brake shoe and braketry, releasing the brake shoe. I hope I have made those instructions understandable, good luck. | | | | Joined: Jun 2016 Posts: 332 'Bolter | 'Bolter Joined: Jun 2016 Posts: 332 | Sounds reasonable to me. I'll give it a try tomorrow. Thanks
