Is all I have to change is the steering box or is there more work involved. (There must be more work involved, right?) Thanx in advance Dano

Connect the pressure line to the return line at the power steering box. Keep it filled with power steering fluid. Works fine. I drove my Land Cruser with a GM box like this for a couple of years before I got the pump installed, without any problems.

I'll try the free method first, until I save up the cash for a manual box.

Stg. unit leaked badly. Replaced it with a manual mustang 2 rack and it drove very nicely. As I recall, I of course has to build different brackets to hold the rack, but I also had to use tie-rods from a late model T-Bird as the mustang rack and stock tie-rods were too short for the Pacer rack. Hope that helps. | | |

Rack extensions are available for mustang racks.
